Stillwater’s Quilting Little Shop!

We provide machine quilting for our customers. Included in the price of quilting, we provide the dacron batting, we can also provide Hobbs 80/20 cotton batting for a extra charge. We also carry a number of different 108” quilt backing fabric’s, that we will be happy to add to your quilt for the cost of the fabric.

When you bring a quilt top in for quilting, and you provide the lining, that your lining fabric needs to be at least 4” longer and wider than your quilt top! If you have a double knit, or one made from a stretchy type fabric, the lining needs to be at least 10” longer and wider, than the top!

We started our Quilting business in the alley behind the fire station in Perkins, in a small shop and a Ken Quilt 622 quilter. Ruth & Mae spent many hours learning to quilt, using old bed sheets and blankets to learn on. With her trusty machine and a can do outlook, she went to work and has not stopped.

Ruth wanted to move up to a larger quilter, and so about two years ago we bought a Ken Quilt Royal quilter. This machine has been a real boost to our business, and allows for a much wider range of quilting patterns and speeds up the time it takes to finish a quilt for our customers!
